EDA Management with EDAGateway™

EDAGateway™ Designer and EDAGateway™ Manager tightly integrate your CAD tools with Teamcenter. The end result is accelerated design cycle time, fewer errors, and lower overall costs.

EDAGateway Designer

EDAGateway Designer integrates Teamcenter with your EDA tools, enabling you to load design Bills of Material (BOM) from CAD directly into PLM. Manual data entry in PLM is no longer required. EDAGateway Designer can be called from within most CAD tools or invoked as a standalone application. The interface is Java based and functions with Teamcenter provided classes for all Teamcenter activities.

EDAGateway Manager

With EDAGateway Manager, you can finally manage your CAD library in a consistent, integrated way. This tool synchronizes your CAD library with your company's real part database - PartDictionary or Teamcenter's Part Family Manager. Engineers and designers can now access the true source of part information – the PLM database – from within the design environment. This tool will simplify the process of part selection and enable you to increase the use of preferred parts.
