Synapsis to Present at Next Generation Telecom Conference in China

Synapsis Technology, Inc., a provider of Environmental Compliance and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions, today announced that Tim Irvine, its vice president of sales and marketing, has been selected to speak at Next Generation Telecom China taking place October 11-13, 2005 in Beijing. The conference focuses on collaborative commerce for the high-tech and telecommunications industries.

Mr. Irvine will be giving a presentation on "Environmental Compliance for Design & Supply Chain Services" at 10:30 a.m. on October 12. With compliance regulations such as RoHS and China RoHS driving the need for changes in product design and more complex business processes, Mr. Irvine will discuss the risks and challenges associated with achieving compliance as well as recommend strategies to consider when implementing compliance programs.

"The high tech industry continues to rapidly evolve with shorter product development lifecycles, global supply chains and international mandates," said Mr. Irvine. "Companies that can develop core competencies in compliance management will gain competitive advantages through lower cost and increased market share. China has a strong electronics industry and its manufacturers will be among the leaders in adapting their businesses to effectively meet the industry's environmental regulations."

Mr. Irvine will also be participating in the Supply Chain Optimization panel discussion being moderated by RosettaNet at the end of the day.
